Thanks to @bioreconstruct on X, we have a new aerial look at the ongoing Tropical Americas construction in Animal Kingdom, along with what might be the final aerial view of Aladar and the entrance of DINOSAUR as we know it.
Last Aerial Look at DINOSAUR

This week is the last opportunity to ride DINOSAUR before it closes and is reimagined into an Indiana Jones attraction. Sunday, February 1 will be the last day DINOSAUR operates, and wait times have been high. The aerial shots above and below show Aladar the Iguanodon at the entrance of the attraction. This Sunday will be the last day fans of the dinosaur will be able to see the figure in its current state.

It is possible that Aladar may be gone in the next aerial update as prep work for the Indiana Jones attraction begins.
Tropical Americas Construction Progress

Moving into the areas of the former DinoLand, a nearly straight-down aerial look shows utility conduits being placed for the carousel, which is located on the former site of The Boneyard. Part of the fictional Pueblo Esperanza village, the carousel will feature wood carvings of favorite Disney animal characters.

More dirt is being moved around while additional concrete forms outline future walls or foundational elements. They are located near a pre-existing concrete structure that was part of The Boneyard. The walkway at the top left will be closed after this Sunday as DinoLand sees its final stage of closures. These include Restaurantosaurus and multiple shops, which will be repurposed into Tropical Americas.

From the opposite angle, a concrete retaining wall and foundational work continues for the future carousel.

On the other side of the pathway, conduit and foundation work is in progress in front of the structure which will be home to the Encanto show building.

The land in front of the building will be used for the village of Pueblo Esperanza, the fictional land replacing DinoLand.

A few weeks ago, framing of the Encanto ride building began, with interior framework beginning recently. Now, we have an another updated aerial overview of construction in Tropical Americas in Animal Kingdom.

Roofing materials continue to be added to the Encanto show building. Though it’s just a frame right now, the Encanto ride will eventually have a Casita façade. The ride will be set during the film, although it will go beyond the original story.

The aerial photographer also recently flew over Disney’s Hollywood Studios to check on the rapid construction of Monstropolis on the former site of Muppets Courtyard.
