Walmart just unwrapped a fresh batch of Easter deals, and they’re serving up some serious savings. These tasty offers are already live on the retailer’s website and can be found in stores all over the country—just in time for the holiday feast.
One of the standout deals is a special Easter meal bundle that’s not only bigger but also easier on the wallet compared to last year’s version. With deeper discounts and better promos than in 2024, it’s the kind of basket you won’t want to let roll past your cart.
Walmart’s Egg-cellent Easter Deals
Walmart has just rolled out a festive offer packed with sweet savings on top picks for the Easter season. The deals are already up on their website and available in stores across the country—so no matter where you are, there’s a basket of bargains waiting.
One of the main stars this year is a holiday meal bundle that’s even better than last year’s. Compared to 2024, this spread comes with steeper discounts and tastier promotions. If you’re planning to host, these prices are so good, even the Easter Bunny might do a double-take.
On Wednesday, Walmart cracked open its annual Easter meal deal, offering a bundle of nine festive items—including a sweet double-glazed ham, Kraft Mac and Cheese, fluffy dinner rolls, and a medley of veggies—all for $43. But in a twist for a holiday that usually scrambles to include eggs, this year’s kit leaves them off the menu entirely.
The company boasted that the kit serves eight hungry guests, breaking down to just about $6 per person—a price that’s easy to digest.

“Back by popular demand, Walmart’s rolling out big-time savings on top of its famous Every Day Low Prices, serving up a full Easter feast for even less than last year,” the company said in its announcement. According to Walmart’s site, this egg-less Easter special will be hopping around until April 20.
The Easter meal kit is definitely easier on the wallet this year. Back in 2024, the bundle cost just under $8 per person, according to Walmart. Fast forward to 2025, and the price per plate has taken a noticeable dip.
Last year’s kit even included a pack of 18 cage-free large brown eggs from Marketside. That same carton was ringing up at $8.04 in New York recently… definitely not pocket change.
“Why, no eggs?”
Asked about the egg situation, a Walmart spokesperson explained, “Egg supplies are a bit scrambled in some areas, but we’ve been working closely with our suppliers to keep shelves stocked and prices in check.”
The rep also added, “We’ve doubled down on savings across other Easter must-haves and are proud to serve up a full meal for eight at a better price than last year.” Looks like Walmart’s keeping Easter affordable—egg or no egg.
Walmart’s decision to leave eggs out of this year’s Easter meal kit isn’t just a random choice—it comes on the heels of egg prices going through the roof in the U.S., thanks in part to an outbreak of H5N1 bird flu.
According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the average price for a dozen large Grade A eggs hit a shell-shocking $5.90 in February.
The egg shortage has also led big names like Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and Costco to start rationing, putting a cap on how many cartons customers can take home. It’s an eggs-as-precious-as-gold kind of moment. The egg-flation hasn’t spared restaurants either. In February, Waffle House cracked open a new fee—tacking on an extra 50 cents for every egg served.
Meanwhile, over at Shake Shack, CEO Rob Lynch mentioned during a February earnings call that chains heavy on breakfast may start pulling back on egg dishes. Instead, we might see more sausage and chicken stepping into the spotlight—because when eggs get pricey, beef and poultry are ready to take a bigger bite of the menu.
