This project aims to improve community resilience, enhance conservation infrastructure, and promote participatory forest and environmental resource management. By focusing on these areas, the UNDP hopes to create a sustainable tourism model that will benefit both the environment and local communities.
With the support of the UNDP, TFS is working to improve tourism facilities at the reserve. One of the major planned upgrades is the construction of a modern gate at the forest entrance, which will provide visitors with a more welcoming and organized entry point. In addition, cottages for tourists will be built to accommodate those wishing to stay overnight, allowing them to experience the reserve’s beauty over a longer period.
The “Seven Wonders” and Other Unique Attractions

Among the additional projects planned for the reserve are the fencing of staff houses to improve security and the development of sustainable tourism practices that will help preserve the natural environment while accommodating growing visitor numbers.
